Everyone in the dreamshare business knows that the best-selling children’s book series about dream walkers had to be written by someone in the business; there’s a pool about who the author is, and arguing about who certain characters might be based on is a popular pastime in the community.

Eames likes to joke that the main character is obviously based on him, but until he stumbles upon proof that Arthur is the writer, he never actually believed it. And while he’s always teased Arthur by saying that the two of them are made for each other, until he realizes that his character’s will-they/won’t-they love interest is remarkably similar to Arthur, he never thought that Arthur might take him seriously.

Comments: This is extremely quirky and fun, the prompt itself is amazing! And the author has Eames and Arthur’s characters down pat. So lovely.

She says it “is really a comedy, with inappropriate texts (blame Eames), Cobb getting completely the wrong idea (blame Eames) and Arthur’s thighs coming up in conversation (Eames again), but there are serious and romantic parts in it.” This is her first Arthur/Eames fic, so make sure you read it and give her some love and feedback!

Comments: Annoyed Cobb, adorable Yusuf, Arthur and Eames sharing a bath… This is, in the author’s own words, “a fic that is 20,000 words of smut.” There’s also a wonderful sequel that begins with the line, Arthur opened the door, took one look at Cobb, and said, “No.” right over here.

Comments: Whoops, another school based AU! What can we say, we love them! And the Inception fandom is just so damn good at writing them. This particular fic is multi-platform; it has Omegle, Twitter, text messages, photos, and a fabulous story all rolled into one. Super awesome!

Title: Let Not My Love Be Called Idolatry

Comments: Adorable high school AU in which Eames is a shy drama geek, and Arthur is a popular student council president. We are suckers for these types of fic, plus it’s a super long 20k, told in three (magnificent) parts.
